In partnership with the Council for MENA Affairs “ ForMENA” , the CoE Arabic Society organised the Arab Week between 11th and 16th April 2016 at the College of Europe in Bruges – Belgium . The countries represented were Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia and Syria. It was a great opportunity for students to share cultural insights with the College community.
Indeed, the Arab Week opened a new horizon of cultural diplomacy for the College of Europe community, whose members come from more than 60 EU and neighbouring countries. Activities were based on the exchange of ideas, values and traditions, to strengthen dialogue, enhance socio-cultural insights, and promote Euro-Arab ties.
The success of the Arab Week at the College of Europe encourages ForMENA to pursue its efforts in enhancing the Euro-Arab Dialogue and empowering cultural diplomacy in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
